The story of my first pregnancy. I had high blood pressure that turned into severe pre-eclampsia, which resulted in IUGR and low amniotic fluid. I was put on bed rest and hospitalized, and later was transported to Memorial Hermann hospital in Downtown Houston. My son was breech, and I had a failed external version to try and turn him for a vaginal birth. I gave birth to my baby prematurely via emergency c-section at 34 weeks gestation. Evan had a NICU stay, but he went home 10 days later weighing 4 lbs 3 ounces.
@carlynicoleelliotte It's funny how much things make sense aftterrr the fact, huh, Rach?! I always wonder how much things could have been different had I had better doctors with that pregnancy or delivered with my own OBGYN instead of having to be transferred to a random team of docs... but I guess I'll never know now. It seems crazy to me that no one knew about any of the things going on until Brady.

You know, your external version didn't work because of your unicornate uterus. Women with unicournate, bicournate and septated uterus should have those done. But no one knew about yours at that time. But that's why it didn't work. And spinal issues like you have go along with uterine abnormalities as well as kidney issues. I'm happy to see you vloggin on YT. :)
