Here is how you more correctly keep bubbles in place so that they don't untwist. The basic principle is also to twist the balloon always with one hand, while holding it with other, and another principle is to turn balloon always in one direction. That is how you avoid any untwisting. The bubbles alone usually do not stay in place.
