I wanted to bear my personal witness of Jesus Christ and do so in video. Any who suggest that Mormon's do not believe in Christ do so without any basis. My faith in Jesus Christ has grown ever since I have returned to the church.

People suppose that I've not spent any time away from it or that I've not read all of the anti-Mormon literature. I've read it all and now looking back, I can't believe I believed those things. I can't believe that I followed after the ideas of men and I have wasted years of my life in those thoughts.

To my everlasting shame, I allowed the wickedness of other men determine my own devotion (or rather my open rebellion against) to Christ and I left the Lord's vineyard to my own detriment.

It is my only prayer that the Lord can forgive me of my trespasses. This eternal gift... the gift of Eternal Life is worth MORE to me than anything else. I shudder to think of how much it must have hurt my father in heaven for me to have left the Lord for as long as I did. I dare not leave him again. If anyone thinks for a second that they've DONE too much wrong or caused God TOO much hurt based on their choices that they can not return to his fold? Perish the thought because it's Satan's greatest lie.
Anyone and I truly mean ANYPERSON can repent and return unto him. ANYONE! This life is the time to prepare to meet our God. I am thankful that God found, in his infinite wisdom, to spare my life and provide me the chance to repent. My life is filled with light and joy ever since I made the choice to yield to God and surrender my life to him. I, indeed, have lost my life and to me, that is a very good thing!

Folks think I have hours and hours of time to research their EVERY question answering to their every inquiry. What I will not do, however, is spend hours in their books and weary the Lord. After I have received already MANY witnesses from him via the Holy Spirit regarding truth. What's funny is that some folks suggest that I've NEVER read anything that goes contrary to the church. I have read MANY things that are considered by some as "Enlightened Information" about the LDS church; some call it Anti-Mormon literature. I call it a "distraction" because if I'm spending time on that information, I'm not able to serve others and continue to uplift; instead of being forced into the witness of men and their contentment of tearing down.

  • christianity is not the way... science is the way... christianity is the problem... science is the solution...

  • @hkjono - the God of this universe lives by law and we too must live by law. God is the author of Science...

  • Some Mormon beliefs:

1)Do not believe in the Bible where it conflicts with Mormon scripture (BoM, D&C, PoGP)

2)Polytheistic- Father, Son, Holy Spirit 3 separate gods and Mormons can become gods

    3)Salvation by works

    4)Different levels of heaven

5)Book of Mormon has been CHANGED multiple times since 1830

6)There are a lot of contradictions in Mormon scripture

7)Elohim (a Mormon god) had sex with Mary

If you want to be a Christian you can repent, accept the True Jesus as Savior and follow Him...

  • @rickgigliotti - thank you for someone elses un-original thoughts. And people say that I FOLLOW my church blindly. You accept these things as truth without ANY reproach. (See 1 John 5:9)

  • Truth does not need a testimony if it can stand on its own. Stating one's belief as truth without objectively verifiable evidence is dishonest. Any organization which genuinely possessed truth of any kind would not need to manipulate its followers into stating beliefs as fact because the truth would objectively speak for itself.

  • @soulure - truth is truth. it's up to us to live in harmony with that once one receives a spiritual witness of that truth. (1 John 5:9)

  • This is simply beautiful and simply the truth. Merci!

  • @THELDSLIFE "truth is truth. it's up to us to live in harmony with that once one receives a spiritual witness of that truth."

Truth isn't what you believe from an old book or just because it feels good and you decide to call that a "spiritual witness" especially when there is no reliable consensus on what a "spiritual witness" even is compounded by the problem that nothing suggests a "spiritual" realm. • His grace is sufficient for those who love him and keep his commandments. What I find uniquely interesting among many of the CINO's is that they'll misquote one or two verses (completely ignoring the context in which those verses were given, reading them word for word and then suggesting what these words mean by interpreting them privately) and after they misquote these verses, they suggest that I am in the wrong for going against their view? It's insanity.
