This type of water writing was invented by Professor of Art Steve Pevnick. Professor Pevnick invented "water writing" in the 1970s and patented his technology in 1979.
As an Environmental Artist Professor Pevnick created his Graphical Waterfall art so people could enjoy the full sense of water.
