  • RIP Korolev.

  • jets last goal and pearl jam, AWESOME!

  • i might have not been born to see a game in the old Winnipeg Arena, heck i wasnt even born to see a jets game, and i might not be from manitoba or winnipeg, but its great to see a jets game back in winnipeg after the franchise lost them in 1996

  • It's official, the Jets are back and Nik Antropov has scored the next goal for the Jets!

  • Great to see the Jet's back in Winnipeg.

  • @JHendrix70 Winnipeg has more of a chance than the Thrashers, or Carolina, or Tampa

Believe me, when you bring 18,000 people to fill a building that size you can tell

Just look at Vancouver, they had it full, and actually overfull this past year

  • @JHendrix70 actually you are wrong about Carolina. Attendance is middle of league. No struggles here. Being a season ticket holder I actually feel more passion in the building more and more each year.

  • The guy seen in the first 2 seconds is Igor Korolev who died recently in a Russian plane crash. RIP

  • @beaverdammer thank you for this comment. For being honest and respectful instead of just assuming that those teams are automatically shitty because of where they are. You are right. The Jets would and are gonna be more successful. Like you said, bottom line is that it is in Canada.

  • stop arguing over tampa bay, nashville, and Carolina, they are are successful teams. now lets focus on the phoenix coyotes. do you think hockey belongs in the desert. of course you don't. so lets get the phoenix coyotes to become the HARTFORD WHALERS.
