RE: So-called Obama "militant" youth group

A typical step show on college campuses throughout the country.The young kids from the "Obama Junior Fraternity" are emulating a historically black fraternity that is found on college campuses throughout the nation. Their teacher was probably a member.

Young men in this fraternity DO go on to become teachers, doctors, lawyers, architects and engineers. Not a bad way to achieve these goals..

These kids want to go to college so they can be like the men in this video who are in college and are pursueing their dreams.

Other members of this fraternity include Bill Cosby, Jesse Jackson, Langston Hughes, Count Basie and Michael Jordan.

They typically wear camo pants, purple shirts and gold boots to do their step routines. The camo pants are practical for the athletic movements, are inexpensive and can be found anywhere in army surplus stores.

Too bad cultural misunderstandings are still so rampant in this country. Hopefully, we can all learn to see things from others points of view.

I do not object to this tradition or encouraging black children to aspire to great things; what I object to is the indoctrination of black young into Obama mantra's. Obama is a crueI joke for black people; a puppet of evil people like Rockerfellow etc I speak as a father of a black child BTW

I think you are glossing over the militant dangers of young men walking around in disciplined organizations and spreading the gospel of increasing personal responsibility, reducing bureaucracy and increasing coverage in the health care industry and promoting competitive market economics.

Would increasing personal responsibility mean people getting off their weekly check from the government? How EXCATLY would they be reducing bureaucracy and sure every young and profitable person be covered by healthcare, and at the same time instatlling more governmental control over people?

Ok, I'll accept "it's a common "stepping thing" among black college goers" , but explain the worshiping phrase "Because of OBAMA I'll be or do whatever" in the prior video this reply comments about ? I don't see anything in this video that's saying "because of somebody or school" I'll be something else. I think that other video is miles apart from this college "stepping" thing some folks are trying to compare it too !! Have you ever thought about it if you're 18-24 ?? I'll bet not !!!

Black Americans continue to drive a wedge between healthy race relations. While pushing the races apart they complain about racism. You cant have UNCF, NAACP, black TV award, black journalist award, black scholarships, minority incentives to start business, affirmative action. We simply can not have division like this and expect unity. Its naive at best, and at worst its intentional.
