  • Awesome car man.. I subscribed to your channel just because of this vid... Thanks for posting... I have a couple questions... What exhaust and camshaft you running?? And in the beginning of the video it sounded like your brakes were squeaky, is that from the tires rubbing up against the sidewall or from just overall duress of braking too hard??

  • @WildKyote22 Thanks alot man.. Well the it had Dynatech longtubes 1 7/8 to 3.5in. The exhaust i had made for this car, it was just a bunch of 3 1/4 inch piping and some spintech mufflers, true dual. The mid pipe never made contact but it was set up like an X-pipe. And the camshaft is a Futral Motorsports F-14 232/234 .600/.600 112LSA. If you have anything else to ask feel free.

  • @550HPGTO Cool, thanks for the response... Ive been on autotrader looking to buy a 05-06' LS2 GTO for a reasonable price..... Ive found some pretty remarkable ones in terms of low miles but the dealers want way too much money... When I finally purchase one I plan on doing full exhaust and cam similar to what you have done... I'll post something once I get to that pt...

  • @WildKyote22 You can always talk a dealer down.. im more of a fan of buying from private sellers because if their bullshiting me i can always tell. But theyre not usually as flexible as a dealer would be. But if you can catch them in a lie is the best time to smash the price their asking.

  • It just astounds me, that's all. We view them as a pretty basic car here. I'm well aware of who provides motors for whom, the closest we have had to our own motor was the Holden 5.0 that was eradicated in 1998 and the 3.8L Holden V6 which was originally a FWD Buick block design that we made work in RWD.

What astounds me the most is that with the selection of muscle cars over there, so many people choose a commodore. I'm not sure what specific model the G8 is, but I'm assuming it's what we cal

  • @MrRastaVibrations Well the the holden commodore is a pontiac G8 here, G8(V6), G8 GT, and G8 GXP with 425hp. But in the eyes of an enthusiast a G8 or commodore is a very basic car. I dont think anything special of them at all. Except theres a guy in my area who owns one with 700hp. But then idk why he just didnt buy a corvette or new camaro. Since Pontiac is out of business now.

  • Where oh where did you get those beautiful rims at??

  • "1989 Silverado 305 10 HP" AHAHA LMFAO THATS PRICELESS

  • @MrRastaVibrations yea ive seen pictures of those. They look awesome.

  • What we call the SS Commode (sorry, commodore). If that's the case have a look at the G8ST Sports Truck (Commodore Ute). It's a shame GM pulled the pin on sending these to the USA. They're a lot of fun.
