ParaNorman | Paranormal Stop-Motion Movie Review

Stop-motion artistry doesn't get any more advanced than ParaNorman, but is the story as fun as the style?

The stop-motion wizards behind Coraline have a new puppet-powered story in theaters this week, and Dan, Jeff, and Alex are there to check it out. ParaNorman is the tale of a young boy who can see ghosts, tasked with the job of saving his hometown. Does it conjure familiar joys of Goonies and Scooby Doo, or is it just another summer disappointment?

it wasn't force fed to us it was the punchline to the running gag of the sister really liking him and him seeming to ignore him, also it was his sexuality. someones a homophobic idiot.

Ended up seeing this the other day. It was really good overall. I don't think it is for kids though. Some situations/language that isn't right for them. One guy brought in his, I'd say 3 year old. Not for little ones at all. Also unnecessary joke at the end with the older brother. Don't know why that crap has to be force fed down our throats like that...
