what is the maximum record time for a single clip (using max card size)?
-
Can you help me ? I have a problem with charging the TA 1. I have it connected to my pc, but it wont charge.
-
@ChristopherOdom I did get that hiccup but my integrated intel graphics could only handle 720p with a decent frame rate

If there was a hiccup, you might have been watching the HD version and the compression may have had too many bits encoded for your video card to handle. I have multiple machines at the house with various specs, and some can handle the HD and some cannot.

Which is better the Panasonic HM-TA1 or the kodak zi8?

@waveboi93 That's a tough question. They are different. Picture quality is comparable on both. The sound might be a little better on the Kodak. The Kodak has a crappy monitor in direct sunlight. You can brighten the picture, but it throws the colors all out of whack, but only on the monitor and not what you shoot. It's annoying, because you can't see what you are getting. The Panasonic of course is not waterproof. If the Kodak had a better monitor, I would definitely pick that one.

Which pocket camcorder would you recommend if it has to be full hd and has to be quite good in low light?

@CryBloood Out of the ones I've reviewed, the Canon Vixia HF R10.

Hey,
Quick Question! Does it have auto focus while in video recording mode? as no websites seem to specify this. CNET say "The lens is a fixed-focus affair."

@SoftwareTutorial I'm not sure, but if it was fixed focus, in technical terms that would mean it's in focus to infinity, which means that everything in the frame at any distance is always in focus.
