Anyone that's ever truly LOVED someone and listened to this knows how powerful this song is.It blows me away. And I don't want to hear anyone elses version. I love my wife of 35 years, heard this in my car in 1978 and had to pull over. When my Grandson was born in 99, I went and bought it again. I cried a lot. It's a true love song. Maybe the best ever. Should I turn in my man card? No way. I love this song and my family..

I took a girl to a Roberta Flack concert in Detroit about 10 years ago when I was in my early 20's. It was a valentines day concert and I thought it would be romantic to take my girlfriend to it. This song was her encore performance and the first time my girlfriend and I had heard this song together. This April me and that girl celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary... I love you Julie :)
