3D graphics killed the most fun games.

I found my PS1 buried somewhere in the house having survived time, dirt and humidity.

I had never played R-type on it but had finished the game in coin ops.

Now I've downloaded it and the fun begins again, 20 years later.

Those games where about good playgame, not stupid FX.

If I remember correctly, he told me that he couldn't record the sound.

He wanted to put in the original music or something related, but he said it wouldn't be the same without SFX.

I can try to see if I can make a runthrough of the game .. but I'm nowhere near as good as him yet.
