Very VERY cool. I love the Spiral. And the four inversions. Where do you get your marbles? Are they even marbles like we think of them (ie. glass)? What is the diameter? Did you experiment with different types, materials, sizes and settle on these? I'm very curious.

I get my marbles on the web at MegaGlass. I use 1" glass marbles for these smaller dekstops, and 1-3/8" marbles for my larger sculptures. Most of my experimenting has been trial and error, asking questions, and having a positive attitude about building from scratch with no directions... : )
