Myself grooming BOI at the Bay Of Islands Center in Moser River Nova Scotia. he is going thru his spring shed, and there is alot of hair flying around.
when i go down to the center to work with BOI, i always like to start with a grooming session to help him relax and gain his trust in me.

watch for more videos of my work with BOI in the future.

oh and like do when your driving there, getting him in, grooming, tacking up, riding, untacking, soaking down in summer time, [ if summer ] the yard water fights!, giving him his feed, mucking out, taking him out getting ready to go! its interesting for somepeople! :D

  • as i volunteer to work with him iam usually only with boi for a couple of hours. its hard to find someone with a steady hand to tag along to video tape:( i tried to get my aunt to help, but she had no idea how to operate the camera and was afraid of boi(i will post that video soon as it is entertaining)

  • wut breed is that?!

  • im not sure what breed boi is, i have been told that he is a mixed breed. there has been some speculation that he has some canadian (a breed of horse not where he comes from) horse in him, but nobody knows for sure.

  • he's so big! he needs a bigger stall lol! the roof isn't high enough?

  • thats correct shannon, his stall is a little short for him. we are going to build him a new stall in the near future hopefully, when the weather is warmer and we have the time and resources to do so. we are thinking of doing it in a different part of the barn, so he isnt so close to the doors. it can be a bit drafty in the winter time.
