@Wanda7771 H.R. 3590 became Public Law 111-148. Neither of the words "Muslim" or "Islam" are found in the law.
Members of some religious organizations may claim a Religious Conscience Exemption if their sects meet the conditions by having a health care sharing ministry that is exempt from taxation. However, it has not been established that Muslims qualify by having such a health care sharing ministry.

@massmanute Under subtitle F part 1 Section 1501. Also p. 107 of H.R.3590 of the "Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Amish are exempt also on religious grounds, but NOT Catholics or Baptists or any other Christians on Obama's hit list, who MUST PAY for ABORTION PILLS whether they like it or not.
-
@Wanda7771 First, let me ask you a question. How come you don't know the first thing about the law(s) known as Obamacare? There is nothing in the law that exempts Muslims. Where in the world did you come up with such an absurd and crazy notion?
I'll tell you what. If you can quote me the section of the law that exempts Muslims I will try to find out why this might be so. I have no fear of having to explain this (fictitious exemption) because there is no exemption to explain.
-
@massmanute How come Muslims are exempt totally from Obamacare, whereas Christians cannot even get exemption from a tiny part of Obamacare, (contraception)?Isnt that showing favoritism to Muslims? Is that because Obama is a Muslim?

@JgHaverty Let me also add that even though the US spends more than any other company by almost every measure, we fail to cover all our people, and in addition, our overall health care outcomes are relatively poor compared to almost any other economically prosperous country. (when I say "almost any other country" I am being charitable to US health care outcomes. I think the factually correct phrase would leave out the word "almost".)
-
@JgHaverty Here is a link to some numbers on health care spending for several countries.
kff_dot_org/insurance/snapshot
/oecd042111.cfm to convert this to a real link take out the _dot_org and replace it with a period.
These figures are for the year 2011. According to the link the US pays 51% more per capita than the next highest country, Norway.
Also the US spends 16% of its GDP on health care, almost 5 percentage points higher then the next highest country, France.
-
@massmanute Im with you, but I'd like to see numbers on this, as I have a VERY hard time swallowing that canada pays less on health care then we do lol.
-
Oh, one or two more things: Contrary to the propaganda spewed forth in this video, Obama is not promising that health care will be free.
Furthermore, contrary to the propaganda in this video, other countries are not paying 50% of their income for health care. In fact, the USA pays a higher percentage of its gross national product for health care than any other economically advanced nation, even if you account for taxes that are going toward health care in various countries.

Hey, good idea. Take advice from cartoon characters with semi-coherent computer-sounding voices.

How likely do we think it is that George W Bush read the Patriot Act? And what does it prove? You will et a much clearer idea of the main provisions of an Act of Congress from reading a summary than reading every individual clause and subclause. Plenty of legal professionals do need to know the detail and read the act in full, and be sure they will point out if anything important is left out of a summary.
Oh bamb a cur LOL
