I agree with your sentiment... the one line on which it is obvious is when she doesn't immediately come back and link the split line ending with "we fail". That's a dead giveaway.

  • lol microphone shadow at 0:55 XD

  • I'm sorry but I'm gunna say that Caldwell is disappointing here. She stays on the same beat for too long and some of her intentions do not make sense within the context of how Connery is reacting...she's not really trying to convince him. She's just spouting out the text. Come onnnn this text is so rich! It's so FULL of chances to change your tactic and she is not taking advantage of that!!

  • Omg Caldwell is soo pretty xxx

  • This is an excellent rendition between Connery and Caldwell. Not only does it sound authentic because we have an actual Scotsman playing Macbeth, but both actors make the scene look real. She really does try to convince her husband to do this deed, and slowly he starts to see her logic. Connery and Caldwell play that out very well. It's not just one actor doing well while the other actor throws lines just to move the scene along. You really do see the scene dynamic change. Excellent performance.

  • I saw the whole thing a while back, and He actually did a really good job, better than I thought he would. I especially liked his "tomorrow" soliloquy

  • Macbeth thinks the bed is too small

  • Tho for all his literal faults, I still believe Sean plays the best Macbeth. Mark you he is Scottish, and yet methinks his tone has more like turned refined. Still to hear such a

text in that native tongue is so very hard to find. For you to post such a performance,

    twas... oh so very kind.

  • Nice one

  • Do you exshpect me to talk, MacDuff?

No, Macbeth, I expect you to quit decapitating people and letting your wife walk all over you...good God, man, you're James Bo--er, the great and noble Lord Macbeth!

    ;)
