Very good Tutorial,thank you!
I want to ask you ,for downloading concerts to youtube.. does matter the file format , for the best quality sound,AVI or other..?Thanks

It is a great video editor and is fast and easy to use. However, you can't overlay moving gifs such as revolving spheres.

I bought the license do VideoPad, but the new version came with a problem I can not solve: the speed of the timeline is much higher than what is shown in the preview and Sequence Preview.
As the Preview Sequence and preview is showing the 15:00 position the Timeline is already showing the 25:00 position.
I've tried changing the speed on the effect funcion, but does not change. Even being at 100% speed, the speeds are different.
What do I do?

where can i download version 2.41 full for free?
Do you think this is better than Camtasia studio 7??? Because i am currently using camtasia, and i really like it, but im looking for something with more PIP features.

@laxedskater009 I always thought camtasia was a screen recording tool with video editing built in, however as far as the editing part goes i think you'll find camtasia is more ascetically pleasing and nicer to look at, however videopad can do more, just might not look as nice :)

Have you ever heard of Movie Edit Pro 17hd. Curious to see how it measures up to Video Pad.

Liked your video guy. I'm looking for a MPEG4 video editor to edit my game play clips. Currently using windows movie maker, but I have to do allot of file conversion. I use a HD PVR hauppauge which records file in M2TS format, which then i convert to AVI. Then finally use windows movie maker to add sound track, tittle and end credits. Would you recommend this product for me?

@leotheman2003 I also used to use windows movie maker, but as you stated is it a pain to use because almost all video types need to be converted before WMM will accept them. VideoPad can import almost all video types, (i have not come across a single video type it could not play),
VideoPad can also add soundtracks and add titles and end credits,
Basically videopad can do everything WMM can do better, plus more.
on that basis i would definitely recommended it for you.
Hope this helps!
