If you are entertained watching strong players play very fast games against each other, kingscrusher has an excellent channel for that. The guests that accept my seek in this video are pretty weak by some people's standards but the mistakes made are of the type I feel my target audience can learn from. I tend to focus more on the commentary and instruction aspects of live blitz.

  • @ 5:29 why not bh6?

  • @pedalpusher2008 ..Nxh6

  • small thought: you are not supposed to hold the piece to its potential destination square when you are checking to see if the move is ok (it would be like moving a piece to a square OTB and then holding it there while checking if the resulting position makes sense)

on the brighter side: I definitely enjoy your videos very much! can't believe you get away that beautifully with such offbeat openings

  • I fail to see how it's like that. Touching a piece is legally binding, clicking a piece is not. Also occasionally this is done while talking about the move/piece .. I don't think I do this when playing normally but I'm not sure. Thanks for subscribing.

  • ya you rule Matt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I rule not much. Thanks for the comment though.

  • yay nimzowitch's defense

  • Thank you mat for being such a great teacher. I have learned so much from you. I dont know if you live in Los angles ,i would have liked too take lessons from you....your blitz games are exteremly instructive. you are one of best teachers on the internete. i wish u a great success my friend!!

  • At 8:26, you could try a queen sac by playing Qd8

But then again, it can easily be defended, and i don't think the opponent would be stupid enough.

  • Thief

  • whats the program he plays on called?

  • I so enjoy your play and commentary, nice job. Also the second game where your opponent played c6, you playing d4 is a good move. The c6 move is akin to white playing c3 against the sicillian defense on move two and I always reply with d5 with black in that situation. :)
