@sooooooo0 well I don't see how anything could be wrong unless you are judging it in the perspective of some set of standards. So are you saying it's wrong in societal's standards or...? Though we like to think of ourselves separate from animals we still have primal instincts that lead humans to exist in packs or groups since that is one of our basic survival strategies, so if someone pisses you off you aren't just going to kill them for their usefulness in the future. and now we can rationalize

@CriMSWoW There seem to be some things in most people's minds that are automatically wrong after you learn the basics of humanity like everyone is a person, like you and has feelings.

@michael1991123 but it's not always the "good" ideas that spread, but more so the "fittest" (fit being in a sense the most capable of spreading for various reasons) so one example would be people are sometimes willing to accept a flawed explanation that makes sense over one that may be more accurate, but more difficult to understand. This is a pretty vague example, but basically don't always expect what is accepted or popular to be true or the "best". my understanding is basic tho.

@themefund cool thanks for the reply! Take care.

I am wondering exactly how this "filtering" is / would come to pass. Is it going to be community based or is the group that runs YouTube going to do that depending upon the communities reaction(s)?

I think that some things are automatically percieved as wrong, such as if someone's annoyed you a biit your mind might think "KILL THEM!" but then you'd see that was wrong and extreme and try other ideas that are more sense. But somethings I think people don't see as wrong quite as soon, then go along with it and the bad ideas build up until you get something really wrong like in Lord of The Flies.
And I agree with you that some people agree with youtubers because they're charismatic.
So you mean ideas are schemed as an analogy to evolution.
I like the analogy. It is true, some ideas have to be tested as any good chemist tests reactions in his lab and as any good law has to endure the test of application over time.
Some things cannot be completely clear until they are tested. So overall yes there are some bad practices in YT, but sooner or later, like all things, they come to an end, and the good ideas prevail due to greater success than popularity which lasts a few days

@michael1991123 no I mean that ideas evolve. Memetics suggests that ideas, cultural practices, languages, etc. are like viruses of the brain. They pass from one another and are testing themselves out.
They are separate and independent from us.

i dont think the theory of evolution can really be applied to ideas and projects like you have tried in this video. good idea, but evolution is not the only model for how things progress through time.

@danceandrevolution so let's talk about some other models and theories. Give me some specific criticism please, otherwise I will not learn.
