  • its sped up ya fool look at it

what are you trying to prove speeding the bloddy video up like that?

  • @DublinTrainGuy

What are you on? I don't have the technical skill to speed a video up - this is in real time with no manipulation of the video! I can't say if YouTube did anything to it...

  • Very High Speed !

  • yes - seat belts are optional on these trams!

I did think about that, timosha21, but then he's entitled to his opinion. And I'm waiting for the Edinburgh tram construction to finish and become a big success before I post something on his wall! incidentally, we were passing through Edinburgh at Christmas and the icy conditions reminded me of your Moscow streets! Pity no trams were running yet!

please remove the comment of Scottishlowoflow. Where he says tram are crap. He has no idea of what he is talking about.

  • HI batlin - the tracks can be very dangerous, especially if it's damp.

Did you get a free hi-viz vest from Luas, aimed at making cyclists more visible to other road users? They are really cool, and a great idea on someone's part...

    Thanks for your comments.

  • he he! Haven't been down there for a while - hopefully those shops will survive the recession...

    Thanks for your clarification.

  • I was cringing watching the cyclist follow on the LUAS tracks - I've only cycled on them (parallel) three or four times. The last time, my front wheel slipped into one of the track grooves, then my back wheel slipped in, then the front was ejected about half a foot up in the air when I tried to turn out of it - landed with a jolt, nearly neutering myself.

That was back just before they opened the service, and I've never done it since (I cycle daily, but not near the LUAS anyway).

    Dangerous!

  • I think the shop is (imaginatively) named "The Pet Shop" - it was there last I noticed, which was about 3 years ago.
