I grew up in the town where Rose is from -- Deerfield, and now live in Western Springs.
Both are very nice places. Even if they are being sarcastic in this tune..
Anyway, I love the Poster Children. And, Rose just rocks so damn hard!

It's a great town. Grew up there, cut my teeth there- my ole stompin grounds... all of that. I highly recommend it.

I had the biggest crush on Rose in college. I'd try to sit near her on the quad. She always worse a cute dress and boots, probably Docs. 18 years later she's probably still cooler than anyone.

Two members of PC went to Lyons Township High School in La Grange but they lived in Western Springs. Anyways, didn't ZZ Top immortalize La Grange already? :D
