very deceptive ad... bigger sensor = better picture quality doesn't mean good photography. It just mean clear picture. A picture without a soul cannot be called a photograph. That's why people keep buying camera in search for great photograph but misconception of good picture = photography make a big whole on their wallet still yet to fulfil their wish.

If you take pictures more often then a donkey, you know all the MAGIC occurs with the LENS. When NEX has over 30 PROPRIETARY lenses like micro 4/3 cameras like Panasonic/Olympus (means lenses where you do NOT need to buy a Sony $300 adapter which makes camera GIGANTIC)-then you can make boasts. Otherwise NEX is truly a dead system. Buy a Canon/Nikon if you want robust lenses at a LARGE size, buy micro 4/3 like Panasonic/Olympus if you want small and excellent quality. NEX is a fools compromise.

NEX 5 on the front and NEX 7 on the rear.. probably a NEX (7+5)/2.

@suspendedanimation I hear that. This commercial plays on the strengths of the system well. M43 would do well to learn and market their system (note i didn't say cameras). The size advantage of lenses is great - but again not marketed.
Unfortunate that the last thing they'd market would be the fact that different companies' lens/bodies work together. That kind of cooperation would probably attract people looking for stability.

@TheJK9000 While the size of pixel has an effect - no one really cares if the photosites are smaller or larger. Bottom line is the NEX7 ISO capability is much superior.
But this also really is superior to other APS-C sensors - try the older samsung system which actually has worse performance than m43 despise the larger photosites.

@BoxxyFan ...Calm down already. This is advertising. Yes, NEX lenses are large and the commercial is misleading, but you are coming across as a fanboy and noone is taking you seriously.
You have to admire Sony's marketing. Aside from Nikon, all the other companies have failed to market their products effectively. Any of them could put out an ad like Samsung did to Apple, and debunk Sony's claims in the process, but they don't seem to understand the power of advertising.

@TheJK9000 Have you even seen high ISO results from NEX-7? They are terrible and noisy. That's what happens if you put way too many MP in a sensor. Good thing Panasonic and Olympus have less MP, but higher Image quality! They are smart. Also, if you want bigger sensor, might as well go full frame, because Sony NEX with the adapter and amount lens is about 4x bigger and heavier than a Panasonic GX1 with pancake zoom. Sorry, I buy a compact camera to take with me, not to leave at home like the NEX
@BoxxyFan GTFO Troll. The kit lens is 60mm long and 60mm diameter, that's half a coke can, and much smaller than your typical APS DSLR zoom lens. Yes, it looks big but only because the cameras are so ridiculously small. And no, the handling is fine. I shoot one-handed while riding my bike, and I can comfortably hold it like that for an hour. You're just another asshole who thinks he can do a full review from pictures he's seen on the web. And lastly, have you seen the sales figures?

Did they just say fast autofocus? LOL that's funny. It's literally as slow as my point and shoot in good and low light.
