For-Closure; an installation for the homeless Nouveau was a project exploring homelessness through through symbolism and handmade objects. A paradox of eighteen architectural forms that resembled birdhouses and forms of urban renewal. These structures were constructed from cardboard and sealed with paint and sugar white sand. The potential openings were blocked with metal screens with artificial finches (birds) poised on protruding dowels, blocking them seeking shelter. The room was permeated with an audio loop of finches screeching in unison as if in panic.
