Police Under Fire: Mad Max (Part 1)

POLICE UNDER FIRE: MAD MAX follows the shocking 1985 police shootings by burglar and gun enthusiast Pavel Marinof, aka 'Mad' Max Clark. When a routine search of Clark's vehicle by Victorian police in June 1985 uncovered tools of the burglary trade, Clark attacked the officers and went on the run. During the subsequent chase, Clark burst through a police barricade in an attempt to run one officer down and shot at five others, wounding four and permanently paralysing another.

I remember when this incident happened , it haunted whole melbourne back in 1985 and everyone was keeping an eye out for this man just incase he is hiding on house roof tops. It was the biggest criminal chase ever. I remember we were all scared thinking that this man might come and hide in our back yards or roof tops and even had police knocking on doors and showing the picture of this man warning everyone to be careful of him. He was extremely dangerous.

Man! That Mad Max was real psychopath. It's amazing that his victims weren't killed. He would've been branded a cop killer.
