  • the beginning is from the song get of my yard. The e string is normal, but the b string is tuned in e4 and the g string is tuned down to e3. its not that hard to play

  • I believe that wasn't really sweeping, but his last 3 strings were tuned to at least 1 octave each (G at one octave, B at a higher octave, and high E at the highest octave) making it sound like he is sweeping, at least that what he said he did.

  • oh yea. most definitly. why wouldnt they. people would probably start protesting if they didnt.

  • and with sweeping it tends to sound rushed or not as seprate notes, but if u can train ur fingers for string skips, u have so much more controll (as u were saying)
