@mightymouse2034 padgettes wasnt wind aided, it was just at the usa trials. he was still in school when he ran it so its considered a "post collegiate season record"

@dippedinsauce It sure was broken...and it doesn't belong to Travis Padgett...his was win aided at NCAA's! It now belongs to Ngoni Makusha from Florida State wit a blistering 9.89 and only a +1.2 wind! The race was insane!

i dont get it when someone gets a record whos been already on the world stage and then joins up to some collegiate track team. seems unfair to those who genuinely go through the college system from high school.

walter dix's pr was 9.93, he missed it by .01 secs at National Championships last year. Richard Thompson tied Dix's mark this year at the SEC Outdoor Championships. I wouldn't be surprised if that record fell sometime this year probably at Nationals 2 weeks from now, considering there are 3 guys that could run in the finals that have gone sub-10: Dix 9.93, Thompson 9.93, and Travis Padgett 9.96. Then you added in Trindon Holliday 10.02, it doesn't seem like it's going to last much longer.
