MicroKorg Space Drone A83

Another custom mK drone patch. Again this is the mK alone no other effects were used but the reverb on the mixer.

The batteries went dead on my camera, so you get an extra long ending banner, lol. The missing video would have show me kranking up the resonance on the layer 2 patch.

I've had my micro for a while and I'm only very recently trying to devote my time to understanding programming it.

I'd love to try something like this with a project I'm working on but I'm not sure where to start.

Space Drones - a few things to try:

1) delay, try messing with L-R delay with both short and long delay times. all of the drones I make have delay on them.

2) mK has a hidden little ability that has so many possibilities. Set osc 1 to sin and and activate the feedback using the LFO, Mod wheel, or the knobs assigned to it.

3) experiment, try making "ugly" sounds and then bring them back to listenable.

Hi I just got a MK, I lov your videos and the sounds you are makng. Unfortunatly my MK came without a users guide. is this noise straight from you editing the MK?

How do you make your sound? Do you have a walk through video or guide from the begining process of your drone patches?

You should make a walk through tutorial of how you made you drone sounds of all your videos. I just got a microkorg the other day and all I want to do is make droned out sounds like you do and I really don't know where to begin.
