    i done a trial lesson here in a cessna 172 G-BKCE

    hoping to do another trial lesson "Family affair fly away" then if i like that more "Serious trial flight" i will book my proper Lessons, good luck all!

  • Enjoy it, If you have a strong stomach why not ask for some Aerobatics? Just make sure that the Aircraft/Instructor you book is capable to avoid disappointment. :-)

  • I just did my First Solo today in G-BKGW! :D It truely was an amazing experience and one that i will never forget! And it was my 16th Birthday yesterday so i guess thats not bad going. :)

  • Haha, only 15 here, but I just had my 5th flying lesson in that G-BHEN Cessna at Leicester airport :) !!! Incredible experience !

  • Whilst you can begin to fly as soon as your legs are long enough to reach the rudder controls and see over the cowling at the same time you cannot log your flying hours until you reach the age of 14 years. Solo flight is possible from the age of 16 years and the minimum age for the issue of a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) is 17 years. Cessna 152's are a very popular training aircraft but it is not mandatory that you train in one. Pretty much any SEP Aircraft can be used. Even the Cessna 172....
