Let me remind the assholes that this is not illegal; you're not using their copyrighted server software in any way, you're just using their client to connect to another server. And yatc takes it one step further that you don't even need their client - 100% free. Maybe someday there'll be an open tibia client better then the original.... you could customize your sprites, create whole new content.
Anyways, thx devs, wish I had code skills for this kind of thing ;p
Well, i'm not an expert programmer, but i've had my moments trying to create games for mobile devices.
First of all: IMPRESIVE! great job! keep it doing it! that would be da bomb in tibia.
2nd: Bcz the pocket pc can't handle many graphics on screen, why don't trying first to reduce the sprites quality in the client?, anyway, is a small screen, only to play sometimes, so, there's no need for great graphics or renders, just the simple client to check your character and stuffs like that i think
Thanks for the kind words, they're appreciated. This was just an experimental direct port of desktop version of YATC. I thought about reducing sprite size from 32x32 to 16x16 automagically, but never came around it. Also this was too slow for other reasons, too, and in the meantime I lost PocketPC so this will probably not be continued.
It was a cool experiment with PPC's SDL, and with Linux PPC compiling tools, though -- and it brought first desktop Tibia on mobile devices :)

It's a great advance!
Please continue developing YATC!
A greeting!
