  • how do you use that slide hammer I have the same one couldn't make it stay one, also on the copper studs the ball end welds to the car correct?

  • @ZONER4201 Yes, you need to make sure the panel is grind clean. You can learn more at our HQ site learnautobodyandpiant(.)com

  • Hi there, I've never used a stud gun so not sure of the full process. When paint on the other side of the panel burns off because of the weld, what stops the repair from rusting a few years down the track?

  • @anyusernamesleftest Your body and paint. If it's sealed up then you won't get rust.

  • Hi, I have a stud gun just like yours. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong with this unit. I don't know if I am holding the trigger down too long or not long enough. But when I pull a stud most times it pops out and leaves me with a nice hole to weld. Any tips?

  • @Jayc28777 You may be holding it down too long. Check out our site for more information on automotive painting when you have a chance,,, be cool!

  • @KeskinTRS This part was on backorder, take 3 weeks to get, Had no time, plus the job came out EXCELLENT, Thank you!

  • Nice skills but thinking also helps sometimes...

Just replace that god damn fender because you`re not saving any money on such a car. If any imperfections can be seen later on, the cars value will drop immensely.

  • @NatosREekeiEinai of course!

  • @HowToPaintYourCar thank you , ive been searching that for a while now , it is a really , really useful machine
