The Hayward School Board and superintendent are nothing less than arrogant. They aren't taking care of their teachers, therefore thay are NOT taking care of our kids. I agree - recall the whole lot of them. Hayward teachers, thank you for what you do every day for our kids, we are behind you.

Stand strong Teachers! The corrupt nature of the HUSD board goes back decades and can no longer be tolerated. Your communitity supports you; don't let them negatively impact the lives of another generation of children. Call for permanent change! RECALL THE BOARD!!!

I hope teachers will stick it out & be BOLD with their efforts to fight back & hold strong for what is rightfully theirs. SHAME ON DISTRICT LEADERSHIP! If you don't drop your egos & poor business practices the students will lose more than you will ever comprehend.

awsome! i was there. i think i was on tv. im not sure. so, the idea of a strike wasnt awsome, but at least i was on tv! lol. i was with my dad Luis Reynoso. idk if anybody knows him. but hes a teacher. yep.

If there's any greed, it's coming from students who take unfair advantage of them, and administration who refuses to give them fair pay. Look for a way to sound more educated and respectful when you speak. Thank you.

Teachers get to deal with students on a daily basis. I, being a student, know what a burden it could be to have to work with me, and other unwilling peers in a classroom. Teachers take personal responsability for the failure or wrong doing of a student, and make sure we go back to shining status.

I have been hearing about the strike and i am a hayward high student and I say that the teachers should get more money because the teachers are the ones who taught student. teaching is the most important thing in school.
