Walking in Darkness honors the courage, strength and determination of women, men and children who are forced to flee their homeland under threat of persecution, conflict and violence.
According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, the number of displaced people and unaccompanied child refugees in the world is currently at a 15 year high.
The documentary features intimate interviews with mothers, fathers and children from Sudan, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, LIberia, Togo & Ivory Coast living in an isolated refugee camp in Southwestern Ghana.
The trailer includes a collection of intimate moments right before we interviewed refugees for the documentary. Moments of thought, contemplation and vulnerability as these refugees prepared to talk about buried memories of past traumatic experiences, lost loved ones and lost hopes.
Through this documentary, InLight Studio hopes to raise funds and awareness for refugee camps in Africa to combat the darkness and desperate conditions that exist there.
The documentary is dedicated to Joseph Chad Hill, a dear friend of 8 years, who assisted me with this project and whom I lost to Malaria a month after shooting this documentary. Rest in peace, Joe. My Love for you is eternal.

What can we do that have not been done? Are we too late, do we have enough time? only God can heal their wounds and restore they soul, but first he have to clean the hearts of their oppressors. All we can do is to pray.
