This free informational Webinar (not for continuing education credit) provided CFP® certificants and other CFP Board stakeholders with a look ahead to CFP Boards activities during the coming year.

The Webinar was presented in an interactive format hosted by Daniel Moisand, CFP®, 2008 Chair of CFP Boards Disciplinary and Ethics Commission. Panelists David G. Strege, CFP®, 2008 Chair of CFP Board's Board of Directors, Marilyn Capelli Dimitroff, CFP®, 2008 Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors, Robert J. Glovsky, CFP®, 2009 Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors, and Kevin R. Keller, CAE, CFP Board's CEO, provided updates on CFP Boards recent and upcoming activities and shared CFP Boards plans for increased consumer outreach and promotion of the CFP® marks in 2009. The Webinar also featured updates on the implementation of revised ethical standards for CFP® certificants and CFP Boards increased involvement in discussions on public policy issues affecting the financial planning profession.
