have no idea why you use Spyder2express as a color space, only the monitor should be set to this profile, for nx2 working color space there should be sRGB, AdobeRGB, others but not coming from calibration software

you are entirely right. At the time when I did this tutorial was having terrible problem with the printer and did experimented with different profiles (basically messing trying to see what happen if I use crazy profiles :) ) Well spotted :)
