From 2005's 'Solo,' Dominican pianist Michel Camilo slowly unspools a moody, meditative rumba that gradually increases in intensity. I'm not all about the bulk of the album, but this piece is something special. Around 6:40 when he hits that groove... Ooh, yeah.

Kinda reminds me to "A day in the life of a fool" , by Luiz Bonfá . Even the greatest musicians have influences :-)
