The Climatic Research Unit e-mail hacking incident, referred to by some sources as "Climategate", began in November 2009 with the hacking of a server used by the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich.

Unknown persons stole and anonymously disseminated thousands of e-mails and other documents made over the course of 13 years. The university confirmed that a criminal breach of their security systems took place, and expressed concern "that personal information about individuals may have been compromised."

Norfolk police are investigating the incident and, along with the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), are also investigating death threats made against climate scientists named in the e-mails.

Controversy arose after various allegations were made including that climate scientists colluded to withhold scientific information, interfered with the peer-review process to prevent dissenting scientific papers from being published, deleted e-mails and raw data to prevent data being revealed under the Freedom of Information Act, and manipulated data to make the case for global warming appear stronger than it is.

Climate scientists issued rebuttals and described the incident as a smear campaign, accusing the climate change sceptics of selectively quoting words and phrases out of context in an attempt to sabotage the Copenhagen global climate summit.

On November 24, the University of East Anglia announced it would conduct an independent review of the matter and subsequently announced that the CRU's director, Professor Phil Jones, would temporarily stand aside from his post during the investigation.

You are an ant and you are on this rock as a passenger, not a pilot. Take a break and spend your energy trying to eradicate religion and its failed followers. That would help Humanity.

@699backstab The sun is out of our reach; the earth is not and while we don't fully understand all the interrelated mechanisms, the cause and effect are clear but the threshold and timelines are uncertain. Even some of the hardcore deniers admit the human influence but now argue about the impact.

Global warming is a natural process associated with the earth. Relax everyone. If it kills Humanity so be it. It is natural so let it happen naturally. Next there will be a rumor that the sun is burning at too high a temperature. We cannot control the temperature of the earth in the same way we cannot control the temperature of the sun. LOL get over it.

Hey there, So the science shows warming. Ok i'll run with that for a bit...

I got a few question...

Why are they associating CO2 with it?

As a gardener, I know how CO2 actually breathes life into this planet...

Why tax it?

I am worried about the state of the planet. However, my biggest worry is what's happened to the environmental movement.

Another good question is how effective has the world wide chem trail operation in melting the arctic?

How much of the warming is attributed to that?

Cherrypicking, yeah... ok. If you read all the hacked files found here: thepiratebay . org / torrent / 5666984 / Climategate_-_Hacked_Data ... then you'll drop all brainwashing thought processes. The "Rules of The Game" (the actual hacked email transactions - quite literally the title used in one of the docs [in PDF format]) within the facility which clearly talk about "behaviour change" strategies for the "cattle" who are actually buying into this media brainwashing. Global nothin.....

The flow of this creates warmer water which makes crack bigger and continued flow warm water accelerates ice meltage and breakage/cracks from friction which creates heat in ice cracks opening up the water paths/channels.
