@upinarms79 im 29. I grew up with oi as well. I respect what you have to say fer sure, to each his own, but my interpretation of real hardcore is alittle different , besides what fun what youtube be with out being able to voice your dislike? Im not into the tough guy vibe, music videos filled with thugs walkin down alley ways aint hardcore to me. Kicking people in the face is far from real but whatever dude. you have a good one pal.:)

@TidesAreHigh If I had to guess, I'd say most of the people who have watched this video knows who Cock Sparrer is. Most of us over the age of 30 probably grew up listening to Oi and other British and American punk. Death Before Dishonor is a damn good band and I'm pretty sure this was meant as a tribute. You don't have to like it, but real hardcore has been around for years and it isn't going anywhere.

I stopped going to shows when the FSU $hitbags show up. Get jumped by 10-15 dingbats because I wanna have a beer at a show. Yea, I'm good. And for the hardcore 'scene' being choked out by Nazi's.....c'mon, I've been going to hardcore shows since I was old enough to have a fake ID (pre-FSU) and I didn't see Nazi's anywhere. VFW's, South Shore, Worcester, Haverhill,e tc... Shows stopped being booked and clubs closed because of FSU violence not Nazi presence. Don't believe the hype.

i think u should be from boston and a mteal and hardcore fan just to post in on this conversation. Nobody knows shit about boston hardcore unless theyve been to a show. ya FSU has had there day but the scene now a days is a lot different. i still remember going to my friends band "on broken wings" and throwing down in some shitty vfw hall etc. with like 50-100 people there. thats old school hardcore
