it would be appropriation if rolling stone did this and pearl jam could sue. so they clearly told him they would just use his photo because pearl jam has not been afraid of suing large companies before. so please everyone, stop praising him for trying to look like a badass.

rolling stone magazine is doing what they have been doing since day one and thats cover popular music. You can say that justin bieber and all that crap today is garbage which it is but it's not there fault that all that there is to cover are artists like that. They still have some really good articles in there still. David Fricke is a great writer for the paper and always covers all the classic rock and roll bands and some of the few good new bands that are out today.

@Univermag Rich yeah, and privileged but not in the way you mean it mean. Point is the mag promoted him, not the band. And if you've heard Eddie's past bands you'd know how special this band is to Eddie, and to all of us.

Courteous to his band members. What a humble man.

He's a rich, priviledged bad ass. He wipes his ass with the same magazine who used to promote him. A true rebel.

I wonder if he always thought like this. I mean it'd be cool if he did but I don't know, how can I know right? I'm talking about "we're a band, it's not just me" Anyway he never seemed vain to me so I'll keep on being happy lol

Jann Wenner is irrelevant.

@mrtaargus1 lmao!

@rambokong better than ever? yeah, like when they put Justin Bieber or Snookie(?!!) on the cover, right?

@cagetoday serves you right for buying Kid Rock tickets
Rolling Stone in general has become nothing more than expensive toilet paper lately.

Eddie is such a badass, i mean how many lead singers out there would be pissed off if the Rolling Stone showed their picture only on the cover. God I love you Eddie
