HiDef: Strasburg Steam on a Beautiful February Weekend (Part One)

February 21, 2009: Witness 7312 take charge of the 12, 1, and 2 o'clock excursions on a stellar afternoon along the Strasburg Railroad. None other than starting out at Paradise Lane, chugging by Cherry Hill, and of course, turning at Leaman's Place. On the way back, we see 7312 rocking around by Carpenter's and by Paradise Lane again. Next we see 7312 preparing for the 1 o'clock run. Soon enough, she leaves the platform, crowded with tourists from around the globe. 7312 makes the famous pause at Carpenter's to let the whistle echo throughout Lancaster county... Just beautiful! Your videos are the best I've ever subscribed to. Can you tell me why here in Canada, the crossing bells ring the whole time till the train passes, where in most U.S. states, they stop once the gates are down? Our regulations are geared for more stupid drivers? That U.S. crossings stop ringing after the gates are down only makes sense to me! If the bells are going to save you here, with the train passing in your face, then the "herd" should be thinned-out!

Aw man me and my friend were there the 14th damn I missed a chance meeting you but anyway it was a fun day when we were up there after that we drove all the way 2 Deleware to chase to dinner trains for the wilmington&western
