IF YOU ACTUALLY pay attention in the anime one point after shizuka dies she says that lady shizuka is her ancestor from a while ago that was using maria. so yes maria is pureblood because her ancestors are, tank u,tank u, have a gwood knight. (vampireeeeeeeeee knight dont end!) oh and p.s. if u finished the tv shows and you want to find out what happened read the manga it goes far more into the story and kaname and yuki get MARRIED! kanamexyukiii
