To the idiots responding about attire; this is the beauty of Texas Bands, a plethera of different community and administrative viewpoints. These are the best young musicians in the nation, bar none.

@eafreniere I know here in Oklahoma, many people in the all-state band wear their uniforms not because they can't afford tuxes, but because they want to stand out as a member of a specific high school. Even some of the wealthier schools that have more than a dozen kids in the all-state band require their kids to wear marching uniforms there.

What an incredibly clean performance of Festive!

@eafreniere Some schools don't have tux's to loan out to students. Sometimes, and a lot of military marching high school bands, all they have are their marching uniforms. So that's what they wear year round, marching and concert.
-
@eafreniere Actually, Some schools are so big that logistically their concert uniforms are also their marching uniforms due to money and/or other reasons such as wanting to represent school colors and stuff. I know of many schools here in Texas that do that.

dang this is fast and almost seems perfect :D
Why are some of the members of the band wearing marching uniforms? Just wondering about the logistics behind the performance.

@eafreniere Um... some students weren't able to find a tux I suppose. I asked my directors what I should wear and they were like .. well your band uniform... I gave them the WHAT THE FUCK face and they let me use our Tux's.
