@Cheapbikes that comment makes no sense whatsoever....why not put the money and effort into a larger motor? Its because the larger motor weighs more......its as simple as that. Power to Weight. Most people think that because you have more horsepower, you will go faster and its a load of crap. If you take a lighter car and dump the same HP in it, say VDUB vs Viper, the lighter car is going to win......so why not use the smaller motor all day?

@coolerow...very impressive..but who is ever going to expect a VW to blow the doors of anything??..like when you see a viper or a corvette or any sports car..they look fast just sitting still..VWs look boxy and cute!..lol

yes i know, I was referring to the size of the engine. Getting 2000HP from a twin turbo viper eng is not unheard of. These guys got a 7 sec time off a tiny 2.0L 4 banger...now thats impressive.
