THE PROJECT

Our future feature film, PROPER BINGE, is a dark comedy set in South-Central Alaska. The film follows the rocky life of Buzz, a 32 year old drunk still living with his mother. It's a real take on alcoholism and the consequences of binge drinking. While full of heart, and truly moving, it is gritty, hilarious, and at times disturbing. An appropriate comparison came to light at rehearsal; 'it's what the Hangover would have been if directed by the Coen Brothers.'

The plan is; shoot in the coming summer... but, without the proper funding there can be no PROPER BINGE. Therefore, we need your help.

The film has a lot going for it. It's been in the development stage for a couple of years now so we've had plenty of time to polish the script, to gather our full cast and crew, to pre-qualify for the Alaskan tax incentive program and to build support from local and national businesses. We have nearly all of the pre-production elements at the ready and many industry professionals have already contacted us offering assistance as soon as we pass the fund-raising process.

This is not our first attempt at securing financing for this feature. We've held local fundraisers and met with many potential financiers. Although, many of the hopeful investors want to see a portion of the budget raised before they make the decision to contribute in the project.

100% of the raised money will go to pre-production and production of the film. The money will be used for equipment, cast & crew, props, sets, food & travel.
