This is our highly modified Gama Goat.
2 Stroke 98 hp 3 Cyl diese supercharged was replaced with a 514 Bigblock. All brake drums and pads have been replaced with after market High performance Disk brakes and rotors.

We have just been able to get DOT papers on the Goat so it is now street legal.

  • every thing was custom made. Some for our independent trucks and some for this particular app. Tires are 49 inch Irocs. We are having some minor problems with the cooling on the 526 Cadillac motor. Are you having any issues with cooling yours?

  • I am in Kamloops, I have a gama goat and am looking for two ties for my goat. 11.00 x 18 military tires would work for me. Let me know if you are in Pentiction and have your old tires. thank you for your time and you gama goat looks great. I wish mine was half that nice. my cell 774-270-2617

  • @placerminer1 We are located on Kelowna, not sure if we have any spare tires but I will ask the owner of this vehicle and get back to you.

  • DO WANT!!!

  • @jballer901 ..55 60 mph.

  • @terranborn56 ..You can't..the vehicles were sold under a mandatory destroy before sell agreement. Some got away..but very few. They were not something you would want to have....RR

  • @yamahonkawazuki ...Sorry man..I can't read or speak whatever it is you said here...RR

  • @raginroadrunner now hte hmmwv or humvee or however its spelled lol, has hte diesel and drivetrain in this position. diesel ahead of crew, gearing and shafts between.

  • @raginroadrunner agree with all, except they were sent to the scrap pile early: i was i nthe 82d in the mid '80s and the goats were still alive and kicking. That's a whole decade after the viet guys, so it doesn't seem to be thrown away early. Then again, maybe they were unique to the 82d at the time, i know the sheridan was so maybe bragg was the last hanger-on to the goat. Dunno.

  • I worked on these in the Army. Dangerous and hard to work on, aluminum hull...they went to the scrap pile early in their career. So noisy to drive with the Detroit engine setting in the chassis backwards between the two operators. Not something would ever wan to drive again. Operators in Viet Nam refused to drive them as you could get out of the drivers seat in a short time when being shot at. In a combat situation they were a death trap.

  • You in Michigan?
