@jerihurd I think the ambiguity is entirely inherent to his character. He strives with some success to be the integrous embodiment of the morals of his time, well of course there really is no such thing. So he is bound to end up being ambiguous now and then. There's good reasons society doesnt really endorse his morality anymore, it's not all the decline of civilization...
It's always cool when they give a good speech and a strong dramatic moment to a one-episode character. Also, I'm digging Sir Geoffrey in this episode--that little shrug he gives at the end of the scene with Tewkesbury is priceless.
Theres always plenty to watch on my 2 channels..I,ll be uploading another good Film this weekend on the other channel,it will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way thru.
@loggats Given the time at which it was made, there were good reasons to discuss politicians and their private lives. The Seventies were, after all, the decade of a certain Mr Jeremy Thorpe and his liaisons dangereux...
@YORK15PROMOTIONS Such rare treats such as this should be enjoyed sparingly. I've often been frustrated when I've spent a whole weekend watching a series back-to-back, only to be disappointed when you run out of stuff to watch.
Edward and Daisy are adorable together. It's inevitable.

I'm quite surprised at Hudson's oral ambiguity here. I thought he was made of sterner Scottish stuff!
