What do you believe about Jesus?
Is he a good man? Is he a prophet? Or is he, as Christians believe, actually divine?
What do Muslims believe about Jesus? Is he a prophet or more than a prophet?
Why is it important to understand the differences between the Christian and Islamic views of Jesus?
Representing the Muslim perspective was Brother Yusuf Ismail: Bro Yusuf is practicing attorney and researcher on comparative religion.
Representing the Christian side was Rev. Alan Profitt: Rev Profitt is a Christian Missionary in South Africa.
The Topic: The Nature of Christ in Islam and Christianity
An Inter-faith dialogue between Yusuf Ismail and Rev. Alan Profitt
(South Africa, 7th October 2007)
in isaiah 53 it says jesus isa (pbuh) was silent at his court hearing. this is completely false according to matthew 26 vs 64,70,mark v 62,luke 22 v67-70. jesus also defended himself against pilate by speaking. so isaiah 53 is not a prophecy of jesus (pbuh). however isaiah 52 is a reference to jesus that agrees with the quran 4 v 156 and 157. christians need to actually start reading their own book.
