  • This is a travesty! A wonderful ballad desecrated. It's supposed to be a poor tenant farmer relating the story in a broad country accent heavily laced with Ulster-Scots expressions. For example, it's "feth", not "faith" and so on and so on. This guy, I suspect, has never left the city, let alone visited rural Co Down. Florence Mary will be turning in her grave...
