Equipment: Line 6 Pod XT, Mackie 1202-VLZ3, Korg Kaoss Pad KP3, Roland RC-50 Loopstation, Behringer FEX800, and Behringer Midi-controller which controls the pod xt. Loopstation and the Kaoss Pad are midi sync.

hey how did you get the podxt to work with midi?

mine plugs in and i can record guitar and stuff but when i try to control reason with my midi controler or record electric drums it doesnt recognize the midi

I use the midi-controller as master and the pod xt as slave. With my RC-50 and Kaoss-pad I'm recording. The RC-50 and Kaoss-pad are also connected wit midi. The RC-50 is master and the Kaoss-pad slave.

I've heard that, when the KP3 is a MIDI slave, it still has problems w/ (long term) sync. Do you have any trouble with the KP3 losing sync w/ the RC-50. Is your KP3 in version 1.x or 2.0 ? It looks like you don't keep loops going on the KP3 for long. Have you ever tested how well/long they could hold together ?
