Many a time we received missed calls with unknown caller identity. You can chose to call back and say: "Hi, I have this missed call in my mobile, may I know who is calling?" Often it turned out to be telemarketers wanting to sell me the latest best deal in town, or some idiot who mis-dialed. These days, I resigned myself with the excuse: "if it is urgent he will call again".

But there are times when we may be impatiently waiting for an important call - a confirmation of the contract from your client? a successful job offer for that interview you attended yesterday? How nice if we can find out who called us?

We now can. Reverse call lookup services have just made their appearance on the internet. Previously, you need to know someone in the telephone service provider company, or if you are in some law enforcement agency to do that. Nowadays, for a small fee, a reverse call lookup company allows you to key in the land line or mobile phone number into their computer program; you will be able to get the name and address of the caller. You can also get more background information of the caller.
