This is the carousel at Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The carousel opened in 1945 and was manufactured by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company. Video taken September 27, 2008.
Great carousel...looks identical to Walt Disneyworld's PTC with exception of the outside row horses were kept original and not modified to jump up and down.
@Wurlitzer157 It's been broken since 2008 and they never fix the poor thing. Really makes me sad...

I'm guessing that this was taken late in the season when the organ starts to need repair.

Sadly, the organ sounds very poorly maintained in this video

@anglerfly Last time i wen't to Kennywood, their organ had no flutes or glockenspiel either! What's up with that?!

Tim Trager is selling a 153 duplex with almost the same facade.

@Wurlitzer157 This is a rare kind of 153. VERY SAME as the one in lake compounce. Sounds the same, BUT IT HAS NO GLOCKENSPEIL WORKING!!!
It might be a little diffrent than the lake compounce one.

So fast... I love this carousel, and the Wurlitzer 153 band organ also!
It plays great!
