  • @Lunar131313 Yeah... It's a hard punch to the face to anyone who saw that demo (ie freaking everyone). I was extremely interested in the custom mini thing.

Oh well. I don't *need* this thing, but if it had been what they showed at first, I would've subbed to D&DI anyway. :P

  • I'm not trolling this video or this product. But this is NOT what we were promised back in 2008... Its like being promised a flying car, and then given something made out of cardboard that resembles a flying car... Do a youtube search for GZR - D&D Insider Toolset Demo. 2D maps rendered in 3D space with fully 3D Rendered non-animated characters and monsters that you could customize their poses and looks, basically create your own virtual minis. Though SOMETHING is better than nothing I guess

  • Jesus that mouse lag would of killed me

  • None of these tools are necessary. I prefer to the good old fashion way, which is 100 percent bug free.

  • @Goldengallardo That's kinda how a subscription works...

  • do u hav to stay subscribed to d&d insider in order to keep virtual table?

  • Very informative video. The virtual table looks cool. I like how you don't have to be in the same town to play a game. It will never be the same as being at the same table in person. That said, VT is a good alternative.

  • @philcolons1 Oh... big difference. that just means someone else needs to come out with an amazing virtual table top game to start competition. then DND would do price lowerings so more people use there's more. then updates to be better then there rivals. in the end, we have happy customers. why does anyone hate competitive Capitalism?

  • @3one7crew I never argued that it should be free. There is a demand for what they are supplying, and I was defending their right to charge for it. I call them greedy because they charge an exhorbant amount for the products they sell. Again, totally their right. I vote with my wallet and don't buy the shit I don't want to pay those prices for. I ain't mad.

  • @philcolons1 @LeVaughnX do you guys really know what your saying? "Why are they charging me for something they pay people to put online? Why not put the character sheets online for free so no one has to pay to buy DND?" then no money comes in, no updates. no improvements. downgrades. merchandising goes up. people are fired. bankruptcy. isn't this what happened to almost, if not all Socialist countries?
